NASL core aims
supporting professionals who support neurodivergence in their Communities
Neurodiversity South Africa & Lesotho: Core Aims
“To provide non-medical Support to schools, organisations and SEND Professionals”
We will do this through our own tailored consultancy and training services.
We will provide a service that allows those seeking support to access a regulated professional database of educational and non-medical therapeutic services.
“To promote the Neurodiverse voice.”
Training opportunities will be based around real research and lived experience.
“to create an Open Professional Regulatory network for All”
To create a professional mandate that supports those working within SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
To do this, we will consult members on their views within the sector, and provide them with an accreditation mark if they meet set criteria.
“To lobby governments towards standardised support for neurodiverse individuals as standard.”
Neurodiversity should be recognised in employment and educational spheres, to do this, we need governments to listen! We are working towards publishing a white paper to submit to governments outlining the necessary support for neurodiversity in all settings.
